This is one of my favorite doctrines. It to me is by far the happiest doctrine and puts everything about this life into such a happy and optimistic perspective. No matter how much sadness and sorrow there is here in this life there's more. And that more always seemed to make whatever happens here worth it. Because Christ did what he did death has no power over us. EVERYONE gets to live again. It's a doctrine that gives me the slightest insight into the love that God has for every.single.person. My favorite Easter scripture is from Luke chapter twenty-four verse five and six:
Christ lives and because He lives we all will live after we die here. I don't know exactly how it will be but all I know is that is what done by the power of love so it has to be good.
awesome. feel the same, especially after teaching about the ressurection to my yw today. It's so great & just hope they "get it" ... celestial kingdom baby! Only place to be!
ReplyDeleteThe gift of resurrection to ALL is such a wonderful gift that requires no effort on our part. The gift of exhalation even a greater gift that requires our all to full receive. GREAT scripture - one of my favs too.
ReplyDeleteI'm finally getting around to commenting. I get the same thrill out of being able to get motivated by the Conference talks and music. I can't wait for the Ensign to refresh my memory again.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are having good success with working. I really miss my Washington family and hope to get to come see them in the near future.
Spring where are you. We woke up to snow this morning. Winter just won't give up.
We sure liked Conner being here. He was like a boyfriend to both Lori and I - doors opened etc, etc. He probably felt like a boy scout helping old ladies across the street all the time. I love you and think of all in your family so often. Got to remember Megan's birhday. I'm always sooo slooow.
